»The Liability of Individual Corporate Actors in International Criminal Law According to Human Rights Standards«: As part of the broader business and human rights research on corporate liability for human rights violations, the book concentrates on perpetrator liability models in international and national criminal law. It examines superior responsibility and principal liability, as well as perpetration by virtue of organisational control, and refers to non-criminal law regulations, such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, in order to concretise obligations of economic actors.

Franziska Oehm studied law in Madrid and Erlangen-Nuremberg and completed her legal clerkship in Frankfurt, Berlin and at the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations in New York. Her doctoral thesis formed part of the research project »Human Rights as a Standard for Transnational Economic Law« at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. As a researcher and lecturer in international criminal law, she visited California, Colombia and Cambodia. Currently, she is a researcher and policy advisor at the German Institute for Human Rights in Berlin, specialising in business and human rights.
