This book is concerned with the kinetic and thermodynamic treatments of plasma and neutral gases under the effect of the most important forces such as Lorentz force and thermal ration force. Scientific achievements are presented where the book investigated a new techniques dealing with thermal radiation field affect on rarefied gases problems. The book introduced a new procedure to determine the equilibrium time exactly for plasma and neutral gases mixture using the properties of the non-equilibrium distribution functions. Analytic solutions of the linear and nonlinear systems of partial differential equations, based on the BGK (Bhatnagar- Gross- Krook) model of kinetic equation together with Maxwell equations, which governing the rarefied gases, plasma and their mixture, are studied. The non-equilibrium thermodynamic properties of the systems are investigated. The entropy, entropy flux, entropy production, thermodynamic forces, kinetic coefficients are obtained. The verification of the Boltzmann H-theorem, Le Chatelier principle, the second law of thermodynamic and the Onsager s reciprocity relation for the systems, are done. The book contains more than 150 3D-graphics.

The notion of spatial-energy parameter (P-parameter) is introduced based on the modified Lagrangian equation for relative motion of two interacting material points, which is a complex characteristic of important atomic values. Its wave properties are found, numerous calculations of equilibrium-exchange structural interactions (for nanosystems as well) are done. The concept of the entropy of spatial-energy interactions is used similarly to the ideas of thermodynamics on static entropy. The nomogram to assess the entropy of different processes is obtained. The rationality of applying such methodology when investigating the conformation of polypeptide chains and fragments of DNA molecules is demonstrated. The methodology application to the intensity assessment of fundamental interactions is given. It is demonstrated that corpuscular interactions take place along the potential gradient (principle of adding reciprocals of energies), and wave processes proceed against the potential gradient (principle of algebraic addition of energies). The equations of dependence of rotational and orbital motions of planets are given, their rotation angles are calculated.

The book provide an efficient chemical two-step approach to synthesize Fe2O3 nanoparticles-decorated graphene. Exfoliated graphene (xG) were purified by acidic treatment, sensitized to attach functional groups. FeCl3, xG and NaOH were used as precursors. The structural and compositional analysis, morphologies and magnetic properties of the sample were carried out. The formation of Fe2O3 nanocomposite was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy and and VSM. The particle size of Fe2O3 nanoparticles loaded on graphene was found to be smaller than 20 nm. The VSM plot of the sample is a straight forward evidence of the presence of ferromagnetic Iron Oxide nanoparticles. The Fe2O3-decorated graphene is considered to be a competent material for microwave absorption as well as energy storage devices (e.g. super-capacitors, Li-ion batteries).

Microplasma is becoming a major topic within the plasma community. Microplasma comprise of Micro Hollow Cathode Discharges (MHCD), Microjets, and Dielectric Barrier Discharges (DBD). They can all work at atmospheric pressure and are non-equilibrium plasmas. Among these different types of microdischarges, MHCDs appear as a very promising device configuration to drive DC or AC current through different gases. In this particular reactor, the stable microplasma is confined inside a cavity. Although many configurations of MHCD arrangements have been proposed, but integrated systems involving MHCDs and microelectronics have not yet been presented. The objectives of this published work is to propose different types of silicon micro-reactors made by microfabrication techniques, characterise them by electrical and optical diagnostics and test them in parallel for gas processing. Thus, to provide a better understanding of the physical phenomena related to microdischarge arrays made in silicon.
