Recovering an accurate and precise 3-D shape of the unknown microscopic object using the shape from focus architecture is an involved problem in computer vision community. A microscopic object is placed on a translational stage which is capable of moving up and down in optical axis of the camera. A stack of images is gathered by capturing each image at the discrete steps. During image acquisition step, the stage is translating with respect to the camera while the RGB camera sensor is stationary at a predefined known height. After image acquisition step, a focus measure algorithm is applied to the gathered stack of images to convert the corresponding RGB color information into focus quantity at each pixel. The initial depth map is acquired by maximizing the focus measure curve along the optical axis of the camera. An approximation approach or a regression algorithm is mainly employed after the focus measure algorithm. Recovering 3-D shape using the shape from focus architecture has numerous industrial and medical applications and is currently practiced in most of the developed countries.

Este trabalho visou, por meio de processos a plasma, depositar filmes finos de carbono em determinados substratos (vidro, silício e vidro recoberto com FTO) e então corroê-los em plasma de SF6 combinado ora com H2, O2, e Ar a fim de se aumentar a rugosidade e consequentemente a área de contato desses filmes com o eletrólito de uma célula solar sensibilizada por corante (DSSC). Os filmes produzidos foram caracterizados e estudados por meio de análises de perfilometria, MEV, DRX, XPS, AFM, RAMAN, FTIR, goniometria e medida de resistência de folha por 4 pontas. Essas análises mostraram que os filmes que passaram pelo processo de texturização a plasma obtiveram um padrão nano estrutural característico para cada combinação de gases utilizados. A análise de goniometria mostrou que o TT fez com que os filmes depositados se tornassem hidrofóbicos. Porém, após submetê-los ao processo de texturização a plasma eles se tornaram super hidrofílicos. Tais resultados (aumento de rugosidade e hidrofilicidade) são de grande importância para a aplicação desses filmes em contra eletrodos de DSSCs.

Ainsi ce document a vu le jour, et mis à la disposition des Lecteurs intéressés par la problématique qui y est développée. Cette dernière est largement abordée sous différents aspects dans plusieurs domaines de la physique et de la chimie. Cependant, le présent document traite d'une manière détaillée deux problèmes ayant trait au phénomène d'interaction rayonnement-matière, en l'occurrence l'interaction d'un ensemble de particules de spin avec une perturbation sinusoïdale, et celle d'un ensemble de particules de spin 1 avec un champ oscillant. Le traitement évoqué ci-dessus apporte un moyen de résolution des équations différentielles mises en jeu introduisant la théorie de Floquet et les moyennes résonnantes.
